The city of Bengaluru (earlier Bangalore) is called the Garden city due to the presence of numerous gardens that dot the landscape and create an oasis of greenery amidst commercial hubs. One of the most famous gardens is the Lalbagh Botanical Garden.It is very vast, so you do need plenty of time (not to mention energy!) to really explore this area of flora and fauna in the heart of the city. Of course, you can avail of the open van tour which costs Rs.100/- per head. Believe me, though, it is more fun roaming around on your own down the neat pathways.
You can always take a breather on a bench in the shade of a majestic tree - just don't fall asleep!
